It was an exceptional beautiful challenge to plan the wedding of Anja and Vivek.
Anja, originally from Nuernberg, Germany, is currently living with Vivik in New York City, where they met.
The idea was to set up a three day wedding celebration with a complete Indian wedding ceremony and one European part.
According to the motto of Prime Moments- Exclusive Weddings and Events- “Impossible isn‘t possible for usâ€, this was no problem for us.
Everything was able to be perfectly planned out and after about 500 emails later and a few personal meetings with the bridal couple, the Indian ceremony as well as the marriage ceremony at the Christuskirche, with a reception over the roofs of Salzburg City was planned out.
Most of the accessories for the Indian ceremony were extra flown in from America and India, and after a long research a perfect fitting Indian priest was found, as well as Indian musicians, Caterers and Mehndi artists (Mehndi is an Indian marriage tradition- the practice of painting designs on the hands, feet, etc. of the bride, groom and guests using henna).
The father of the Bride wanted to integrate the Bavarian origin of the Bride and invited a traditional Bavarian children’s dance group the day before the wedding. Now it was a perfect multi-cultural wedding with a terrific and colorful party a la Bollywood.
